Juris Doctor Candidate · Stetson University College of Law · Expected May 2028
Trial advocate, aspiring litigator, and public servant — committed to justice, integrity, and the people of Florida.
Background
I am a first-generation law student at Stetson University College of Law, where I have earned a place on the Honor Roll, secured competitive merit and endowed scholarships, and serve as President of the Christian Legal Society and Vice President of the Federalist Society. I am also a member of Stetson's Trial Team — and was named Best Overall Advocate in the preliminary rounds of the 1L Trial Competition.
My legal experience spans criminal defense, bankruptcy and restructuring, public interest litigation, and appellate advocacy. Before law school I spent nearly two years at the Hillsborough County Public Defender's Office — attending first appearances at Falkenburg Jail, reviewing discovery, and assisting in misdemeanor and juvenile matters — and another year at delaGrana Law handling criminal defense casework. That ground-level experience shapes everything I do now.
I am currently clerking at Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick while also serving as a Teaching Assistant in Stetson's Research & Writing Department. My career goal is to become a Certified Legal Intern and prosecutor at the State Attorney's Office — bringing rigor, compassion, and genuine public commitment to every case as a litigator and public servant.
